Kiyo Sato, of Sacramento stands at Sacramento City College on Tuesday, Novemver 24, 2009 with a book she wrote called “Kiyo’s Story”. Sato was in her first year at Sacramneto City College when President Roosevelt signed an executive order that put people of Japanese descent into internment camps. Sato is one of the people benefiting from the Japanese internment and degrees bill that will award honorary degrees to those students forced to live in camps during WWII.
